Lara is the Acute Oncology and Cancer of Unknown Primary Lead Nurse at Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust, with 25 years’ experience in UK cancer care. Her previous roles include Intensive Care, Critical Care Outreach, Divisional Director of Nursing, and Palliative Care at the Royal Marsden Hospital. She holds an MSc in Advanced Cancer Practice and is a Non-Medical Prescriber, supporting advanced practice development for cancer CNSs and AHPs. Passionate about education in acute oncology, Lara is an Associate Lecturer and Module Lead for the University of West London’s Care of the Patient with Cancer module.
